Over the years Enviroair has delivered a variety of energy recovery solutions to its clients. One of the most challenging applications of an HVAC system is to provide 100% outdoor air to a space to meet ASHRAE 62.1 building design recommendations. It requires a system that is capable of conditioning outdoor air entering the system at up to 95°F and high relative humidity and delivering it to an occupied space at 70°F and 50% relative humidity on a continuous basis.

The SPX - Marley Roadshow made a stop at our office in Ville St-Laurent on September 7, 2011.  A 53 ft. trailer arrived displaying two different cooling towers, an Open Circuit Stainless Steel Cooling Tower and a Closed Circuit Fluid Cooler Tower. These cooling towers were the highlight for our many visitors.

Taco Pumps and Lakos filters were also on exhibit.

A technical seminar was held by Dick Le Claire, Senior Technical advisor for SPX, which focused on the new possibilities of Cooling Towers operation using variable flow, and free cooling during winter operation.

The visitors, mostly young engineers, had a unique opportunity to better understand the benefits and operational options for this type of equipment.

Having both a commercial and an academic purpose, this event addresses Enviroair’s philosophy not only offering  an exceptional sales service, but also to become a leader in the training and technological development of the HVACR industry in Quebec.

On June 16, under sunny skies, our Geothermal Department team and contractor dealers gathered at Le Versant Golf Club in Terrebonne for a day of sport and camaraderie.
 
It was the first edition of the Enviroair - Bosch Tournament, which will be held annually with our affiliated contractors in geothermal as guests of honour.

 After cocktails and dinner, door prizes were drawn among the golfers in accordance with the non-competitive philosophy of the event.

We want to thank all our fellow contractors for responding so warmly to this invitation and making this day a great success.
